When Triarc, the holding company that owns the Arby’s restaurant chain, acquired Wendy’s, the company became Wendy’s/Arby’s Group and executives from both companies were relocated to a new headquarters office in Atlanta. Branding was extremely important on this project, to convey the new company identity clearly and appropriately.
The buildout included the Culinary Innovation Center (test kitchen), two floors of executive offices, boardrooms on two floors, serving and warming kitchens, telepresence rooms, and collaboration and meeting rooms.
The biggest challenge
Leapley demonstrated its ability to work with some of the largest corporate clients, accommodate a tight timeline, handle the relocation and installation of unique art pieces, and work in an occupied environment.
- Materials used in the telepresence room were sent to the company’s Ohio office to create the same look, for a seamless telepresence experience for the users.
- Modern glass feature walls and custom millwork created visual interest in this otherwise traditional environment and provided an opportunity to incorporate branding in a fresh way.
