The Georgia Institute of Technology Mourigal lab and offices are located on the second floor of the Howey Physics building. The laboratory is designed to accommodate sample preparation equipment including furnaces, glove-boxes and hoods, X-ray generating equipment to characterize and control the structure of the synthesized samples and cryogenic facilities to explore materials properties at low temperatures and under high magnetic field.
Mourigal lab required its own roof top unit (RTU), which was supported by a structural steel platform. Additionally, the critical path included eight lab supply valves (LSV). Delivery and installation of the LSVs and RTU were planned perfectly in order to meet the completion date before classes were scheduled to begin.
