Primrose Schools leaders and employees took commemorative sledgehammer swings, signaling the beginning of the construction of the new corporate office in the 16-story Towers at Wildwood in Atlanta, Georgia. Primrose Schools is the leader in providing premier early education and care to children and families in the United States. Founded in 1982, there are more than 375 Primrose schools in 29 states today. The growth of this company led to the need for larger offices; relocating from Acworth, Primrose is excited about this new chapter.

To mark the celebration of this event, Primrose employees were invited to the “wall breaking” ceremony, along with a walk-through of the new space. Before taking a swing at the wall, Primrose Schools’ CEO Jo Kirchner reflected on the growth of the company and how their goal is to create a “wow’ moment with this new space.

This two-level, 30,920-SF interior renovation includes open office areas, enclosed offices, production rooms, conference and training spaces, and an interconnecting monumental stair between the levels. Designed by HOK, the space will be light, geometric, and use a variety of textures to reflect the brand and culture of Primrose Schools.

“We are thrilled to help Primrose with this significant interior construction project,” said Heather Rich, Leapley Construction’s Project Director. “Leapley and the rest of the construction team are dedicated to providing Primrose Schools a ‘wow’ experience with this renovation project.”

Team members include HOK and Colliers International.
