Project Description

WAITT BRANDS

The assignment
When Waitt Brands set out to create a headquarters office for its Prince Global Sports and Bobby Jones apparel lines, they partnered with Leapley to build a high energy environment befitting of its well-known sports brands. Their office needed to provide flexible work and meeting spaces, as well as two distinct product showrooms.

The project scope included offices, open work stations, a break room, conference rooms, and product showrooms.

The biggest challenge
The buildout was completed in two phases, since the space for the second phase was not available from the landlord until after the first phase was completed. In order to meet the client’s schedule, both phases were completed using a fast track approach, and offer an example of Leapley’s ability to work in occupied space.

Highlights

  • The bright, vibrantly branded showrooms create a retail-inspired experience for buyers to view the product lines.
  • Contemporary finishes include open ceilings, custom lighting, and a predominantly white color palette that allows the brands to stand out.
  • Branding elements include a custom reception desk with golf and tennis balls on the face, Bobby Jones history wall, a wall covering featuring a large scale black and white photograph of the golfer, and use of oversized custom decals on glass for the Prince showroom.

Lots of daylight floods this 20th story space through floor to ceiling windows that offer a panoramic view of the Atlanta surroundings.
