Each spring the Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business hosts an Honors Day Celebration that recognizes those students who have excelled in academics and service to their community. Leapley Construction’s Founder and CEO Meredith Leapley was the keynote where she discussed leadership, making it in business, and core values that drive her.

“I have shown up, worked hard, and made sure I was seen,” she said during the speech. “I relied on my core values of integrity, belief in self, courage, and innovation to build my business and make an impact in my field and community.”

“Meredith has attributed her success to persistence and authentic leadership,” said Dean Rich Phillips, dean of the Robinson College of Business. “She is a high achiever and a tremendous support of WomenLead.”

At the event, honor students were celebrated and 350 scholarships were awarded from privately funded sources.

“It was a great day of celebration for these honor students at the Robinson College of Business,” Meredith said after the event. “They worked hard, showed up in a big way, and we saw them. I am honored to witness their successes and be part of their day. I hope I was able to inspire them to keep reaching.”
