ABOUT LEAPLEY

GUIDED BY OUR CORE VALUES, WE BUILD ENVIRONMENTS WHERE PEOPLE THRIVE.

Founded in 1999 by Meredith Leapley, Leapley Construction specializes in building exceptional commercial spaces for clients in the corporate, healthcare, higher education, industrial and adaptive re-use markets.

Within its first year of business, the company earned $1.5 million in revenue and quickly established its expertise in the construction industry. By 2001, Leapley was certified as a Women’s Business
Enterprise by WBENC and chosen by The Coca-Cola Company as the preferred partner for a Construction
Services Master Agreement. In the years that followed, Leapley experienced steady, strategic growth by consistently delivering construction projects for global brands who call Atlanta home and operating with its business and community interests in parallel.

Today, after 25 years of delivering a wide range of construction projects – from occupied renovations, first generation buildouts, multi-floor tenant improvement projects, and full building restacks – we are recognized as one of Atlanta’s Top 5 Largest Commercial Interior Contractors and the #1 Largest Woman Owned Interior Construction Firm.

COLLABORATION

We succeed together as a united project team. We work with clients, designers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors as one cohesive unit toward a common goal of excellence.

"Having a super collaborative construction partner on our projects is critical to successfully navigating the process of bringing our designs to life. Taking our ideas from the pages of our documents to the final built environment is what Leapley does best, and we have always found their team to be super engaged and supportive in aligning our goals with those of our mutual clients.
And all the while, having a blast along the way."

Five cohorts have graduated from the Crafting Futures Together® program since 2021. Our sister company, Leap In and Build, now exclusively manages this program for diverse suppliers in various regional markets.

ALAN SCOGGINS

President

Alan discovered his passion for construction as a student at Auburn University – through civil engineering coursework and field experience with the cooperative education program. In the 17 years that followed, he managed many healthcare construction projects for a national general contractor before joining Leapley Construction in 2011 to manage operations of the growing business. Alan is a hands-on leader, a focused and decisive builder, and an advocate for sustainability. Since 2012, he has served on the board of directors for the Lifecycle Building Center to promote the reuse of construction materials and reduce construction waste in landfills.
